LONDON, UK – 8th June 2009 – MYCOM, a leading global provider of best-in-class OSS Service Assurance software solutions and innovative ICT professional services to the telecoms industry, today congratulated leading UK operator, O2, on their No.1 ranking in the recent J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Survey of UK Mobile and Fixed Broadband.

J.D. Power and Associates latest customer satisfaction survey of UK Mobile and Fixed Broadband services ranked O2 ahead of all its rivals in the UK. The provider won high praise in the report for the performance and reliability of their network and services.

Contributing over the past 5 years to the success of O2’s network performance has been MYCOM’s NIMS-PrOptima Performance Management software solution.  Allowing full end-to-end performance management of the network, NIMS-PrOptima is deployed across O2’s 2G, 3G, radio, packet core and soft switch networks.  Delivered interfaces have ensured seamless synchronization with Nokia and Ericsson 2G & 3G equipment, facilitating and empowering O2 engineers to achieve very high standards in the quality, performance and reliability of their network.

NICE, FRANCE – 6 May 2009 – MYCOM, a leading global provider of best-in-class OSS Service Assurance software solutions and innovative ICT professional services to the telecoms industry, today announced at TeleManagement Forum’s flagship event, Management World 2009, the launch of Converged NIMS-PrOptima™, the latest version of its flagship OSS Service Assurance software platform.

With this launch, MYCOM now offers a totally unified end-to-end NGOSS Service Assurance solution that addresses the requirements of convergent mobile-fixed operators as well as IP access and Internet service providers.

Over the past decade the information and media markets have been facing fundamental technological and market evolutions, primarily based around the convergence of networks. Network types have been merging to Next Generation Network IP-based infrastructure and services. In order to service all their customers with similar Quality of Service independently from the access technology, whilst addressing specific needs of fixed, mobile network and IP operations, service providers need to rationalise their OSS around scalable, future-proof and pre-integrated functional blocks enabling them to manage the entire converged network from one location and one software solution.

NICE, FRANCE – 6 May 2009 – MYCOM, a leading global provider of best-in-class OSS Service Assurance software solutions and innovative ICT professional services to the telecoms industry, today announced that it has been selected  by Maroc Telecom, Morocco’s leading telecoms operator, to provide the Performance Management solution, NIMS-PrOptima™, for  its fixed telephony network.

With a rapidly changing communications market in Morocco, Maroc Telecom developed a requirement for a performance management solution that would deliver multi-vendor management capabilities, high system reliability, high data integrity, flexible reporting and automated analysis. Following a comprehensive evaluation process, MYCOM was selected to deliver its NIMS-PrOptima™ Performance Management solution to manage both legacy and Next Generation data and voice Networks (NGN) covering Nortel, Siemens and Alcatel equipment.

The NIMS-PrOptima™ system being deployed will offer a flexible platform designed to integrate with the growing complexity of the network whilst addressing the constant evolution of network architectures, and the requirements of Maroc Telecom both now and in the future.

With a totally scalable architecture there are no limitations in volumes or types of data collected by the system.
